Clearanced the cradle near the steering box and had to shim the bottom of the cradle nearly half an inch to make myself happy. Used two pieces of quarter inch plate the same size as the bottom of the cradle to prevent twisting. Trans is located in the factory position. Headers are on....

Installed dash bar, shifter, and block mounted gas pedal. You can also kinda see a brand new points distributor and cut to fit 8mm plug wires.... Dash bar is made of 1/4" wall 4x4 square tubing with a 1/4" wall 3 1/2" round tubing center.... Block mounted MOP gas pedal.....nice unit! Get this shifter for free, but its flimsy. Gonna add gussets to it so it is more rigid.... At the end of my days off.......back to work for another 3 weeks. I will be home in a few days and post updates as I go.

Got the core support back in after replacing the factory mounts with bigger bolts/washers. Here is the brand spankin new Holley 4412/2300 500 cfm 2 barrel. Wakes the ol' girl up... Got the seat back in. I never remember to run them forward on the tracks before stripping the wiring. (power seats) Had to jump a wire from the battery to slide it forward again.

Whipped up a trans cooler out of an old toolbox.... Welded collars and used barb fittings to get through the side of the box.
