I am doing a 79 caddy right now for th e77 newer not sure what else. The Crown vics are hard to find for cheap ebay is the best place. They have not had them out for almost 2 1/2 years now. I hope they bring it back out. They just released the 76 caprice again.... Hobby Lobby should start getting those again. It comes in a vintage looking box. The art is like the original other then the decals are different.

EVERYONE READ THIS!:
i just had a brain-revolution inside my head to clear up the confusion about the contest.i think we should have a day where all of the contest entries go into the chat room and discus problems/issues/questions/anything really. does anybody else agree?

Being new on here I am still a bit confused as to what all can be done...sorry.... but can it be a curbe side that the hood does not open like promo style cars or is it better to cut the hood open and the have it closed. Or as long as you show the engine detail in photos is that ok?
Great to hear anothe sponsor...

Great to hear anothe sponsor... well. if you look at the rules from the last model contest it says you need certain photos of each scored category. ie: motor, interior, underside, paint etc.. and if the hood is going to stay connected to the fenders and such like a promo car, you should take pictures of the car with the body off first. then some with it off

show your engine on the table, then show your engine in the frame all wired up. use whatever you have. If all you have is a promo, just use it. You'll be fine.

Thanks, I hate not cutting the hood out but this Caddy hood curls around the side and would be way to hard to cut. I also have my other 77 and newer is a 84 Caprice. It is resin and the hood looks like it is about 3/8" thick and I hate to try that one also. My 77 and older will be open hood I think. I am not sure what all I might want to get out of the barn for those builds.
