yea it would look ok and i could get by with it besides all those vics look the same when their all stripped down

I looked at both today and the 79 definitely has more backing then an 80s

You can fit a lot inside of a 70s and 80s ford bumper and it still looks stock

Can't take off too much without moving the core support back and I don't really wanna do that with no welding on the body rules

The early crown vics town cars and mercs like 79-85 had a "gusset" in the bumper and bolts that screw in these seem to be a stronger bumper. I have had some that where just hollow and only lasted one run. There hit and miss. Tom
