I'm not sure what the paint sceme is gonna be yet. still a long ways from that. lol I've got a buddy here that has a metal fab buisiness. And he is supposed to be making me a bad azz roof sign we'll see how that turns out and then decide how I want the rest to look. It's going to an out of town derby so I kinda want it to look mean. Ya know.

Got a little more done, I got the battery box all built and fastened down, and the trunk tucked, The trunk lid is so long I had to tuck the end down and then roll it under neath the rest . it came out bad azz if you ask me. Now I'm gonna put a big notch right under the tuck and a small one at the bottom of the hump and chain the ass end down tight and hopefully we wont have the same thing happen to this one that happened to the one that was posted earlier in this thread.

Oh ya and I'm aloud to weld 12" per trunk seam but my window bars cannot touch the trunk lid. that is a little wierd, but whatever.

Yes, how you did that trunk lid, folding it under again to go with the floor. That really helps.
I would cut a small notch first right near the bumper, and prebend that frame to a slight angle upwards so it pinches that notched slice of the frame back together. Then go ahead and put your notches in the frame like mentioned before.

Hey guys just a little update on the car. I'm pretty much done with it, I got the cage all in everything wired on the motor, all the tranny lines run, the rear window bars in the gussets for the hood bolts and the hood bolts all in, the hood cut and put back on, Just need to patch that big ass hole in the firewall and run everything going thru the firewall thru some heater hose to protect it. and chain the assend down, and shoot some paint on her and I think she might be ready. Oh and pull the front calipers off and bleed the brakes. I took her for a joy ride the other day and she has alot to be desired in the brake department if you know what I mean. I didnt take out any fences or anything but they do need work. LOL I'll post some pics when I get back from Vacation and I can get it out into the light and get some good pics of everything I've done.
