Thanks. I finally decided to crack open my wallet for once. Do it right the first time around and it might save money in the long run. I wanted to make the parts myself but here for the last three months I haven't had much time to spare and the time I do get in the garage is hard fought for. I hope fine tuning my chevy ford setup that will go from one car to another is a good investment. Hopefully it will be very reliable eliminating some worries.

Mounts for leaf pack are fabbed. Next will be welding the mount to the frame. Everything has been disassembled to add one more main spring to each pack. Durring mock up and the initial test fit for the whole rear end setup. I noticed the pinion angle is about 20°-25° off from where it needs to be. I will be cutting the leaf spring perches off the axel housing and reweld them to compensate. Parts that are delaying the build are Bumpers, bumper brackets, 70's ford 1/2 ton truck steering box, radiator and some other misc ones but are on their way as soon as the guy im making a trade with can deliver them. Engine and transmission will be her the beginning of June. Just playing the waiting game but I will keep u all updated. Stay tuned

Yea scooter the pinion angle is off by about 20° making it point down. I will be fixing that here shortly. And yes it will have a slider.
