Drilling out the hole for the center pin is ridiculous. Burned up about $50 worth of titanium drill bits. Didn't think they were that hard,

Yea they are a pain and hopefully these hold up for a LONG time considering how much has gone into them. My next investment will be a drill press. Im sure that would of helped.

Thanks. Ill grind the welds on the perches. Then rotate the rearend so so that my pinion angle is 10° above level then re-weld. Ill post pics of the process if you guys want to see that. the white paint shows how much the the rear end needs rotate off the perch. I will be doing this on Monday or Tuesday hopefully then I can get the body back on the frame. Never done or seen this setup before but it has purpose and I really think it will exceed my expectations. Its going to be a SOLID car. I know im running against 3 well built Imperials I just hope my 59 is built better. Just trying new things and this setup will be tested properly

Thanks Scooter. Today I took out the center section that had 3.56 gears and installed the center section that has my mini spool and 3.90 gears that came from under the 61 wagon. I also swapped the entire drum brake assembly over to the original narrower 9" housing that ford used in 59. I know the drum brake set up works good and I hate trying to revive old brakes so ill save some time there. After everything was all put back together I went to add some gear oil and could not find the pour plug. There is a drain plug but nothing else on the housing or 3rd member/ center section. Ended up having to pull the driver side axle and jacked that side in the air so I could pour the gear oil down the axle tube. had to rig the funnel Everything on my rear end is back together and im ready to put the body back on. Hopefully the rest of the build will be smooth sailing.
