got my tranny drilled and tapped for my slider, gonna hook it up tomorow and set it back down on the ground and go to work, did more stripping of the team car tonight then working on this, got my bumpers off and gas tank and tranny cooler out of that... this car is going to have my 78 newport rear bumper on the front and the back... well the back will be special, something that came to me in a dream, yes a dream... POINTY ON THE BACK!!!! axle killer, should sit at about 20" in the back if everything works good how i want it

Question why a pointy in the back? I've seen a few on the back of Gms and they didn't do crap for em

front bumper is a 78 newport rear bumper... i have a set of 80s chevy bumper shocks shoved into the frame as far back as it will fit, the mounting bracket is flush with the front of the Y and itll be hardnosed to that....

sorry guys im not ignoring your ideas im just on very limited build time, what is done to it is how its going.... chase yes the yorker came with the front bumper so count that as pointy number 2 for me..... today I got my seat bar and halo bar in, all excess stuff out of the engine compartment, and got my steering column in... i took a few pictures and ill get them up later this week... it is also now not getting the pointy on the back, its gonna be ran without a bumper at all in the back...

these are unibody in the back so it should hold to the floor ok, the back is 18 inches to the ground right now, perfect axle shot height but i think im gonna bring it back up to 20 inches, the leafs are actually inverted right now, I want them level front to back so its probly gonna have to come up some... heres one pic for now...

o ok yea since its uni it should be good i see compact run with no rear bumper becasue they are uni and idk 18 inches might be good for you but could also be bad cause it could make the rear go down
