Got some work done yesterday. Removed the stock tank put a inline pump and my M&M boys tank in it need to bolt it down still. Also this car has no return line do you guys think my inline pump will be to much PSI? Sense I'm running the stock rear I had to take rear calipers off and cut the mounting points off to put some 14inch rims on it. The rear calipers and pads where junk and I wasent going to replace them. Also did some sheet metal work, I'll get some pics up tonight or tomorrow. Tom

Stock 4.6 in it has only one line no return off the motor or tank. I've seen this on newer compacts but most had a return from the fuel filter to the tank. I use a inline pump from a late 80s ford f150. I'm just worried it will built to much psi without having a return. It runs fine so far just hate to have a fire caused from fuel. Tom

Yeah running it with out a trunk lid, it's something we used to do alot up here. I'm doing some old school tricks to it. Everyone try's to make there car stronger by wedging and creaseing trunks now I just want it to fold the way I want it to and still be able to see out of it. Any ideas to gain some height out of the front I run Stoney roberts rules. Tom

For this car why not shim the cradle between the frame and the cradle where it bolts on?

some one on here pm one time i think it was scooter but if you take out the front springs and put a water pump pulley up in the frame pocket and then put the spring back in it will give some height and the suspension will still bounce or you could put in those twist in spacers they make for coil springs

Etown I wouldn't want to put too much stress on the aluminum cradle as it is by adding spacers. This is a whole new animal than older vics.
