got given a 70 newport that was ran at my hometown show last year... the car is being sponsered to me completely, still has a ton of life left in it... it comes with the running 383/727 under the hood, a 76 impala bumper on the front, and a deeply geared 8 3/4 rearend... it is basicly a turn key car as it sets, it just needs a battery and a driveshaft and it is ready to run again, I get to keep the car and everything with it after it is ran, it will hopefully get ran on the 4th of July in a town about 50 miles from me.....
now onto the doba and other team car updates... I got my 360 off of the old subframe it was on last weekend, checked it for cracks and it seems to be good, gonna hopefully swap out the crank pulley and harmonic balancer and water pump this weekend and put my cradle and pp on it... also gonna go pick up my 2 27-8.50 15 skid steer tires I bought... I was also going to run this car without a back bumper but since changed my mind and picked up a 73 pontiac railroad bumper for the back of it last weekend, as well as a cheap aluminum radiator and electric fan....
team updates.... One teamate has his 80s lincoln about 75% done, this one is staying coil sprung instead of getting a leaf spring conversion, it has a chevy 355 under the hood..... my other 2 teamate havent even fully decided on which cars there gonna run yet...
that is all for now

yes here is that car there was 2 Y framers that painted like that, this one, the guy doesnt want to run it agian, they were both sponsered completey by an Agronomy center here, since the guy doesnt want to run it, they came and found me to run it... the only stipulation is I have to leave the "no farms no food" painted on it... sounded like a good deal to me

I am no longer running this car guys, it is just more than I want to handle with all the issues it has... we messed up on the backed, the frame is tweeked, and my bumper shock set up is illegal... I have a buddy that is going to buy it from me.... I will now be building a 91 mercury grand marquis instead... the way it sounds is that my whole team will be composed of 80s ford products..
