Which engine(ford) runs best at high temp ??I have always heard great things about the 351w...and the 302.

I've heard the 351 are good for heat I know my brother had one in his truck and it over heat drove about 8 miles home with it over heating went out about 5 minutes later and it fired up.

the olds 307 like the heat also had a 302 run without water in a couple different heats

I've had about every ford motor excludeing a 351c and I like my 302s but a good 400 is worth it's weight in gold allong with a 390

390's from my personal experience. Powerhouse of a motor and all mine loved the heat.

ive always heard the 400 and 351s and 302s are great that they will run till they are gummed up so thick they cant. i believe it on the 302s cause my cousin had one and he ran it till the intake was full of gunk

If you want a good running motor that will run with out water and not lose the hp check out Baldwin racing engines there 355 full rollers are badass. And if youve been to derbies in the greatlakes area youve heard about Gaurd speed shop and there Ice cube motors. Im picking up a new motor from baldwin racing for about 2300 Just an idea for all you.

I run a Brp extreme and a Gropp 305 roller, you couldn't pay me to run a ford v8.

I have run my Ford 460 out of water a few times and it just runs stronger. Plus, plenty of power ;D

I'm slowly adding to my Ford engines. Eventually they will be able to handle heat real good.
