well ill get something goin here.... these cars are true unibody cars so no body mounts, then the first thing you need to do is remove the k pucks and suck the k tight and weld that solid,,,, then hardnose a good bumper on it, but keep the bumper shocks on but move them to the inside of the frame, doing all this makes the fronts really strong and then theyll go at the firewall instead of the a arms but take a long time to go there

Does this apply to the 79 LeBaron's also. I'm assuming yes. How does moving the shocks to the inside of the frame rail make it stronger? You would think it would make it weaker because its narrowing the base of impact. Just asking.

it wont make it weaker.... see you hardnose the bumper directly to the frame, then put the shocks on the inside of the frame to stregnthen it in front of the a arm, the k frame will make it strong at the a arms, then just focus on the firewall not bending..... if ur rules allow all this that is

I don't like the idea of putting the bumper shocks on the inside. There are a few guys that do, but many PM'ed me on the "other site" and said not to.

hmmm... id think it would be better to have them on the inside, id rather get rid of them tho i think then put them on the outside, or just dont extend them if u leave them on the outside
