I have been into RC for a long time, its my other ridiculously expense hobby. I build rock crawlers though. heres my most proud build, frame made from 1/4" brake line MIG welded together

ive had a couple nitro trucks before, but hating the constant tuning. Always built electric cause crawlers need super low end torque and nitros cannot provide that

its definitely a cool hobby, and expensive like said before...i like home-builds because of the challenge of doing it from scratch..even with the kits that you can buy....but any type of rc is good with me when it comes down to it!

I don't do the r/c cars, but me and my Dad build and fly r/c nitro airplanes, which is also expensive like you said. I would like to build a r/c car sometime.
