I'm used to running full-size cars but would like to try compacts(so i will be in this section frequently asking rookie questions)anyway,what exactly does fox body mean?

fox body is a term for 1979-1993 ford mustangs. in 1982 ford put a 5.0 v-8 in these cars so they are also sometimes referred to as 5.0 mustangs. and imo these things are ugly so go ahead and smash em. a guy where i live has one as a drag car and i think hes got a 427 in it.

yes they are very ugly cars but they are EXCELLENT drag cars, so if i had one thats wat id use it for instead of derbying but i guess ive only seen one derbyed and it got beat up by a corsica so idk

behold the ugliness and boxiness...heck with the styling of some cars and suv's today these might be coming back into style (i can guarantee you wont find one in my garage tho)

t-birds cougars fairmont zephyr ltd2 and the mini marquis from the same era are all on a foxbody platform they are the same as the mustang structrally they are just longer I have 6 foxbody cars waiting to get smashed and 4 are mustangs but as a rule of thumb when you hear someone talk about a "foxbody" they are probably talking about the mustangs

Painted Chevy orange with a big black bowtie and built ford tough with chevy stuff on the hood. The ford guys all loved it.

i think so to i would love to run one also if they are built right they are awesome drag cars my dad had a capri with i wanna say a 302ho or something and it was bada$$
