How stock? Are bumper swaps allowed? If you can't switch bumpers then anything with a plastic front bumper. Is a reasonable amount of prebending/tucking of the rear allowed? If not then I would rule alot of the fwd gms out, they will plow on the first hit. Good think I only run one stock show a year, I just ruled out 5 of my 6 cars Regardless of rules, sundances have pencils for cv shafts, and tooth picks for tie rods, and the 90s escorts and tempos have junk transmissions. I know some people will argue that one, but I ran 2 of each and will never again.

I really dont like the newer ford compacts plastic front bumpers weak rears and the 1.9s seem to die and not start when there hot, 15 minutes later they start up and run fine

no, the last one I actually ran a trans cooler thinking that was the problem and still lost it. They get sold to scrapper or other drivers when I get them.

on the mopars and gms you have to tuck and do what i call a super notch. you cut the floor out above the rear rails, then straight down but dont cut the bottom. chain the car to a trailer and jack the bumper up about an inch or 3. then it will pack in fairly nice.

I have a feeling that after this weekend my Daiwoo (Kia) Leganza aka "The Korean Crap Can" will be on the "worst" list, but I don't care, the car was cheap to buy and I'm gonna try my best to rip up some sh&t!!

Volkswagen's arent the best either. I ran one last year. The body is built like a tank, they take a lot of abuse, but the DIFIGANT 2 ecm system sucks. when they get really hot, the sensors feed back to the computer and the computer fries. I found this out the hard way. and finding another good computer around here was just about impossible
