Only ever drove the subs and there is no feeling like junking any corner of a gm and backing away and doing it to another than another than another and so on. Once you drive enough of them you can feel when it starts to go away and then you need to slow down.
Ham ;D

If you like to backup = fullframe boxcar
If you like to go forward = subframer
Both are tuff when built right.

when built right a boxcar is better than a frontender...i'd take a boxcar everytime over a frontender...don't let me fool you though, if you can get a frontender run it...they are crazy strong, drive forward all night, the only time you should use reverse is to back up off a hit in the arena and to back off your trailer..but a lot of guys have never seen a boxcar built to their full potential on the front end so they think they are inferior compared to the subframer....cut the front frame off the boxcar in front of the a-arms and splice a frontender frame onto it, then you have another beast...

I enjoyed racing my full framer last year. Only down side is all the local rules greatly restrict what we can do to both the sub frame or the full frame, if we can even race them at all. And I felt like a target out there, but even my mostly stock (thanks rules) Imperial did just fine. Hard car and many more derby's left in it ;D
