Last year I ran a mini truck in a very stock class and got sent back to the pits for 2 reasons. The first was a wheel weight on the inside of a non-drive tire that they flipped about. The second was the 5/16 bolts I used thru my chain was too big. They said the fire fighters bolt cutters couldn't cut it. I just laughed and asked if they were really gonna look for the bolts or just cut the chain which is 3/16 and alot easier to find. Long story short I sent my girlfriend acrost the street to the dollar store to buy some coat hangers. I was told they didn't want it on the track because it was "overbuilt" when I was the only one built to the rules, everyone else was way underbuilt. Gotta love being the only out of towner.

wheel weights, and once i forgot to put the rear bolts on my seat. good thing the inspectors found it. that would have sucked in the arena.

To remove the siren off the roof of my car....
I have never removed wheel weights off my rims. They never check at our derby. Hmm I guess I should start doing that.
