engine is going in today with the BRP Extreme whole engine protection system, can't wait to see this beast on my engine. Cars will be loaded and we will be on the road tomorrow night. I am getting so pumped, prolly gonna have a hard time sleeping tonight. Me and 4 buddies are bringing cars they are all pretty much ready, we will put on a show. Watch for the Boss cars, 82, 590, 52z, 5?z, 57d. They will all be mean. Heard there is a party at Comfort inn. Should be a hell of a good time.

Just got back from bellafontaine. Was a awsome derby really helpful cool promoters. We arrived an hour after the derby started do to problems installing our engine protectors and they went out of their way to make sure we ran. Ended up being up all night friday with my brother trying to cover all our bases and then stayed up for the whole ride there to make sure my brother didn't fall asleep, We couln't take turns driveing because it takes a class A cdl to pull his 3 car hauler when it loaded. We all got our asses kicked. Ended up with 27 cars in our heat!!! I wish I would have went to this show last year to watch, these guys don't even look under the cars, it looked like they let everybody run. Should have done a hell of a lot of cheating, everybody else was,,, I don't mind them letting people build hard ass cars, just wish I would have Known...... I give props to the guys from ohio, they far ahead of the 80 and newer shows in illinois. I seen the hardest fords I have ever seen. And around here I like to think I build a hard car. Learned a few new tricks checking cars out after the derby. Was a good time and I will definatly derby in ohio again. My wife posted a $hit ton of pics on my facebook page look up brock boss. Not feeling up to posting them here tonight.

You call it what you want I was in the third heat with 27 cars lost my steering and broke my switches right away,,, made it kind of hard to make good hits, but I got to drive with no hands for 5min or so I know my brother 590 wasn't sand bagging, he had the pointy bumper that went straight down and he still was bashing with the front. If I could have done anything about it I would have been driving a lot harder. We both brought our cars home wrecked from one heat, that doesnt happen when you bag. Just a tip,, always check the weather when you plan on being outside for a derby and dress accordingly. I put on my coveralls after dark and was plenty warm.
