Anyone else run race fuel. I mix sunoco race fuel with half pump gas for my gropp 305 roller, really brings it to life. I still use regular pump gas in my stock 350.

The sunoco is 116 octane, we mix it with 30-70% 93 premium pump gas

Some fuels add a little different smell to the exhaust, but I would think it would be hard to distinguish which car it was coming from on the track. Just add your good fuel after tech

I usually run normal gas from the pump, but my first derby car had a POS engine that burned oil more than gas. So I added some racing fuel additive and the gas burned hotter. It helped keep it running without stalling from all the oil leaking in.

We are required to run regular gas. So I run regular gas with half a bottle of octane booster. Its made to treat 25 gallons, so half in a 6 gallon tank makes the engine roar ;D . This year I plan to run 93 octane with some 115 turbo red race fuel mixed in. We'll see how it goes.

Can be bought at speed shops, race tracks, ordered off ebay. Sunoco 116 runs from $55-$70 for 5 gallons
