I saw a thread on wecrash for this thought I would share my tips here. Now I use an Equilizerhttp://www.toolsource.com/equalizer-express-windshield-removal-p-103647.html Makes it pretty nice. Before that I just used a knife and a lot of pb blaster or wd-40, the lube makes your knife cut way easier. The other method I liked to show inexperianced people was to duct tape both sides of the window and then smash it out. The tape holds the glass together and minimizes the mess. Its a lot easier to get the seal out once the window is out of the way. The best tip I can give is to always wear gloves when messing with windows it can get ugly real fast.

Its a lot like a sawsall but it has a shorter faster throw. Tried a sawzall first but it always breaks the window.

We still use the old method. Warm the seal with the torch and cut'er out.

Its actually paperthin and flexable, you have to spray the blade with soapy water the whole time you use it or the blade will get hot and break.

i cut my window out with steal cable. i did it by myself and did a saw motion with it and it worked pretty good it didnt break eithe. i have also used bailing twine (for hay bails) worked the same way but broke about 1/2 way through just make sure you have enough for when it breaks
