sure do. alternator. i built a car with guage clusters and had wiring leads to the oil pressure and water temp. usually run the upper and lower hoses 'hooked' together, hose-to-hose style....

you need less heat when you melt the car. it will not give you the bubble effect

There ya go john it takes someone who knows what there looking at to read my builds and those are absolutly not bubbles if you look there all round as "HAMMER" markes.

I'd gues it was hand-bent, then tapped with the end of a narrow paint brush. I've done that, but then painted over it and lost the detail to it.
