thanks, it seems pretty hard for an 80's ford,, was super clean, I think I had a bad u joint in my slider, the track was super muddy and I was getting a lot of vibration when it was floored. I have never busted a transmission like that without really bending the car, only other time I have had it happen was with a pre ran car with the distributer protector welded to the dash bar and a real hard hit,,, bent 3/8s motor mounts in the process.

Ran the lincoln again last night. Track was way sloppier than it looked, should have put the diggers on. Got beat by an old chrysler and a suicide. Broke another tranny, gotta get something figured out with it. Car held up good for what it was up against. Dissapointed that I never used the front. Here is a video of it www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUt7tnaFhTI Found out about this derby at lunch yesterday, got off work at 3 loaded the car and went derbying, did get a big ass trophy for 3rd, biggest last place trophy ever. ;D

We were the only ones for old iron, they had a good 80 and newer show with guaranteed payout,,, but they didn't allow leaf conversion.

just picked up a 89 crown vic whats better with the trunk area, notch or dimple; tuck the trunk or flip the lid upside down or leave normal.
