that'll be my first big investment when i get some money, there is just so many companys that make them. i was gonna go with Nerat but after watching Mayhem last year I might have to go with MGM, plus MGM is in the same state as me

like one they would use in farming tracker supplies sell them right you can make your own by using pto shafts and stuff but there is also ppl that make them and sell them, which when you buy them from someone there already balanced and ready to be used

I have done some looking, and by the time you buy the shaft, yokes for both ends, and u joints,, your really not gonna save a lot. In my opinion you are much better off buying one that was made for derbying. They are not cheap, but I see used ones around 300 sometimes. The pto alone will cost 200-300.

I have been using a square shaft for 2 years, no problems yet. Not sure who made it, i bought it used. I would probly go with a splined one if I was to buy one new though.
