Thats good stuff. The small trailer that i have I kinda got that way also. Its just 2 12" railes on solid axle's real low to the ground. you don't even need ramps to load it. the back just flexes down and you drive right up onto it. Anyway, this guy I know up in the mountains had this 1972 chevy 4 wheel drive pickup on his property that had been parked for 10 plus years. he told me if I wanted it to come get it, so I borrowed a trailer and went up and got it. he said it had a bad starter or something in the 350 that was in it, when we got it down the mountain we put a good battery in it hot wired it and it fired right up with the old gas that was in it, we pulled the motor out, and a friend of mine told me he needed a vin from a pre smog chevy pickup so I asked what it was worth to him and he told me about this trailer he had that he didnt use anymore, so I traded him the vin for the trailer, then we stuffed the trailer full of about 3 derby cars worth of scrap and I sold it to the scrap yard for $125. so I got a good derby motor, a small car trailer, and 125 bucks out of a pickup that i just had to spend gas to go get.

Ya we call the trailer the "scary trailer" cause its so low to the gound and it looks mighty rickity. It's been around since the 60's. I found out some history on it, It was originaly built by this guy for repossesing cars. Thats why its so low he could just back up to cars and drag em right up on it. no messing with ramps or nothing, just quick and easy. I'll post some pics of it when I get some. Its really pretty cool.

our trailer is a 20 ft deck over with a dove tail so its real hard to load cars before their stripped unless their is a hill so we can angle it right where it wont rub but its nice after the derbies cause we just get the guy with the loader to pick it up and drop it on the trailer for us lol all we have to do is strap it down

Heres another freebe, Also got a 63 newport, and a 73 new yorker with the deal. Picked all 3 up today, I'll get pics of the other 2 later. The guy I got em from isn't gonna derby anymore, so he gave me all his stock. Sad for him, but good for me.
