hey all I'm running and 87 town car is there any hints u all could give me to make it strong or tell me some week points on it

A tuck and notch is a must with 80s fords also make sure your bumpers are steel backed if they are aluminum change them out

The stock rearends are fairly weak. If you can't change it out, just don't weld the gears and avoid axle shots.

And put a sbc in it, The ford drivetrain is probrly the biggest weakness. This is my opinion I'm sure some would disagree.

on my car when u hit the gas to much it will stall out is that bc its getting to much air or to much gas i took off all the air breathers and now it does this how would u fix that

It's not a must to notch these cars but if you want it to pack in nice a good dimple or notch will do trick i have notched cars before and had the frame rip so i do dimples now "to each there own" i guess lol this way works for me.Change the bumpers for sure there junk and crease the qtrs it helps alot

keep the back bumper on it if it is steel they pack in very nice just make shore u hit in the middle of the back bumper so it start to v in the middle will hold up good it pulls the frame in and makes it alot harder
