Hey all, I have a 90's gm pickup single cab 2wd.
I was looking around at earlier period trucks and noticed they have the c channel frame in the front as opposed to the truck I have, which has a fully boxed front frame up until just after the firewall.
I've heard that the c channels will tend to go sideways if you get in some good angled shots. As opposed to this, is the frame I have a lot better? (I plan on hard-nosing a monte and sliding shocks in the front and welding it up)...

i would say the boxed front is better makes it stiffer and less easy to bend i totaled a 04 chevy and the frame was still straight but the body peeled off the frame in the front

Not too worried about the body, Ive got ways to fix that...Just wondering about the front frame mostly.
