Went out to the wrecking yard where we have gotten a few cars yesterday and saw a very sad sight, An 80's model Crown Vic. fresh out of the crusher. When asked why, he replied with, "Its been really slow, I need money." I can't really blame the guy I mean after all he has a business to keep up, but when he has acres and acres of mini vans, pickups, and other junk why crush the cars that we have specificaly asked him to set aside for us. Anyway it was a very sad day. He also crushed a 73 chevy wagon, and a 75 chevy wagon, a couple early 70's impalas, and he was just setting in an 85 caddi when we left. I just hope we get a chance to get some of the other stuff outa there before he gets to them to. he has 3 more Vic's and a couple grand marquise. 2 box style and the rest bubbles.

I hate junkyards like that. Thankfully our local junkyard owner used to run IN derbys. So he only crushes newer junk and saves every derby worthy car lol. He knows he can make more money selling the old derby cars than the newer crap for parts.

Thats what we are trying to get this guy to realize is that when he gets one back they are generaly heavier than when we get em on account that they are stuffed full of whatever scrap we have laying around the shop yard.
