What do you do? Leave them in, or cut them out?
And, do you trim around the rear fenders?(depending on the car of course)

I leave the inners in if they're not plastic and for the rears I slice them pull them up and bolt or wire them to the fender works good.

I'm curious to see some different setups of the metal interior fenders. I know some people keep them normal, others roll them up, some bolt them, some half fold them in. I've never had to deal with metal fenders yet, but i'm sure someday I will.

I seen a 76 or 77 tbird run here a few yrs back if those are plastic front inners leave them the one here got smoked and it laid that fender into the motor only thing I see why it did that was cause they took those inner fenders out that and it was a good shot that he took just a thought.

Fenders are already removed and long gone. Previous owners removed them. There is still a piece of one attached, but thats it.

Hmm just a thought.. but what if you kept the inner plastic fenders.. and replaced the bolts holding the plastic fenders with your own bolts.. Maybe connecting things a little better? Stronger bolts...longer bolts? You would still want to cut some of the plastic inner fender off away from the engine to avoid fires though.
