which would be the best to hold door, trunk and hood shut,,,, im thinkin cable cuz u can get it tight and its heavy,,,,, wat do u all think?

like I mentioned before I run chain and threaded rod to hold my doors and the hood I use electric wire thats in the walls of houses to hold my hood and trunk down it works for me.

Chain and long bolts to pull the chain tight. I usually try to get away with duct taping the crap out of the pillars. I have had the tops of doors bend seperate from the body it seems to help some. Or just weld if allowed ;D

We use te rusty old #9 wire, twist and braid plus we weld our doors and trunk solid and then prebend the trunks of the minis. Sometimes we even weld our seatbelts that are bolted to the floor up to the roof LOL

9 wire all the way. ( But I have seen chain do good when placed in the right spots ) Works really well going from core support to front bumper. For multiple reasons.

we used to use #9 wire but now we just weld it all shut. other than hood hood gets some big old bolts in it. ;D

yea i think i mite use a combination of them all this year, cant just weld shut on all besides 5 on 5 off on DD

i weld the doors shut all the way around including the door posts and either put threaded rod in the trunk 4 spots or weld it and for the front i run a min of 3/4 threaded rod in 4-6 places then i run #9 wire from my core support to my front bumper

black 9 wire all the way cheap strong and easy to cut and tighten
