Man I wish I still had the engine out of my old Z28. 550 HP of pure adrenaline and a rocket ship ride down a 1/4 mile drag strip.
Which reminds me I still owe the ex-wife an ass kicking for spinning a bearing in it. I was laid up in the hospital after getting burned in a gasoline fire and she was driving my baby (probably the second dumbest thing I've done in my my nest to marrying her). She wasn't smart enough to notice that it lost oil pressure (oil pump) and spun a rod bearing. I rebuilt the lower end and kept it for a few years. But sold it when the youngest daughter was born to get a family car, then divorced her a few years latter. Should of got rid of her sooner and kept the car, especially with what their going for in today's market.

The gropp 305 roller I acqired over the winter. Ran it for the first time at bash for cash. Love it! Actually gains power as it gets hot, and will not die. Only thing that made it quit was when the battery cable came off.

350s their an easy build adn can make a lot more horsepower by doing less to it unlike a 302 but i think a 302 will last longer
