I would change the bumper plate cuz the stock plate on the mopar bumper shock always rips off and watch out for the big a$$ spring in the shock lol ;D

Ya I already changed that plate. I cut off the GM mounting plate with about 3" of the shock tube still on it, and gutted the mopar shock tube and pounded the GM one down inside the mopar one and welded it all up. It goes all the way back where the frame starts to curve by the front of the A-Arm. It looks like it will be pretty nasty. I have just heard that the pointy bumpers make these go sky high pretty fast.

good man and with any "heavy" bumper with out plating the frame it will eat up a frame thats just my out look on it i'm sure there are other opinions out there about it lol
