Does anyone have any pics/info on this subject?
I know that one of the biggest tips is to use ratchet straps(and lube) to compress the tire that you are implanting into the other.

Pictures? Of course! Here are the 2 tires we used for doubling this tire. Outside Tire. 205-75-R15 Inside Tire. 195-60-R15 Finished Ratchet straps work great for doing this. Also 2 sledge hammers and pry bars. We plan on making a video this summer on how to double a tire. Note* These 2 tires combined together did NOT make the best doubled tire. The inside tire was too much smaller than the outside tire and when placed on the car, the tire would bulge out at the bottom looking half flat.

we've done this a few times but its not a regular thing we do we use 23575r15 for the outer tire inner tire we use a 21575r15 or a 22575r15 with a tube and air ratchet straps do work good with the 215 inside they sqatted alittle but with the 225's on the inside it looked normal on the car.

Yeah I tubed two front tires on my compact I ran. One ended up going flat on the way down. So I put the stock tire back on in the pits. With the aluminum rim. During the heat the other tub blew up. It was so loud I could here it go. lol...

ran a set of doubled tires last year, had to small a tire inside so it tire and looked flat, were using them for fronts, but put them on the back in a pinch. They got suprisingly good traction, I think they kind of worked like a drag tire and wrinkled instead of spinning. And you can double tires with your bare hands and no grease, I learned this from the wheelhouse guys, if you ever go to Metal Mayham, Spring Explosion , or fall brawl check out their booth, these guys can double a tire in about 30 seconds, Bare Hands.

Mobile doubling station lol. i was doubling some tires i bought today, i bought 4 7.00-15's for $10, 2 diggers and 2 straight. well the beads were amost touching so i needed a way of spreading the beads so i could stuff the other tire in. well the side of my truck bed and 3 ratchet straps later I had all 4 tires done. just thought it was kinda funny how well it worked for me.
