MOWER RULES
Any riding lawnmower allowed except for those rear engine types like Snappers. Decks must be removed. You may build a stack for the exhaust. You must weld bars on the side of the mower for leg protection. If your gas tank or battery is in front of the motor you must move it to a safe place. You may rig up a hand throttle to run the motor wide open. You must bolt or wire your hood down tight! You may weld or bolt onto your motor a spark-plug protector. You may weld on a front and rear bumper that is to be no taller than 15 inches and may only be as wide as the front tires. No excessively thick bumpers, use your good judgement guys. Nothing may protect the tires in any way. No frame reinforcement is allowed except for what is needed to mount the bumpers and cages. You may change pulleys for your desired gearing. Chains are allowed on your rear tires. You must hit with the front of the mower during the derby. You must make a hit every 60 seconds. No hitting the leg area of the mowers. Hits are to be made to fronts and tires of the other mowers. Helmets required. Rear Hits may be made using safe smart judgement.Must be at least 15 years of age. NO home-made mowers.....18 hp limit...BUMPERS AND LEG PROTECTION BARS MUST NOT BE WIDER OR LOWER THAN YOUR TIRES ,AND NO SHARP OBJECTS ON THE BARS ! IF YOUR MOWER DONT MEET THIS RULE YOUR NOT RUNNING
ADULT COMPACT
All cars must remain stock unless otherwise noted. If it is not in the rules, it does not mean you can do it. So Don’t!
**CAR TYPE any car or station wagon that has a wheelbase under 109" with a 4 or 6 cylinder engine.
**Stripping:
All outside hardware such as glass, plastic, fiberglass and chrome molding, door handles, mirrors etc must be removed prior to arrival. No broken windows in doors. All flammable materials must be removed such as carpets, upholstery, headliners, and back seats. Cars must be clean and free of loose objects inside and in the trunk area including spare tire, rims and parts. Insulation blanket under the hood must be removed. All items must be removed except for front seat and dash..
**Body:
Wheel wells may be cut and rolled for tire clearance. 5 bolts in each wheel lip acceptable 3/8 bolts and 1" washers max size
**SUSPENSION: factory stock
**FRAME: factory stock, you can notch and pre bend

You may swap motors/transmissions
**Transmission:
Floor shifters allowed. burp tube must be installed over the dipstick and routed to the ground to prevent fires Transmission may be secured by chain , # 9 wires or stock mount
**Rear End:
Any 5 bolt pattern accepted ~ spiders can be welded ~ .. Any drive shaft allowed.
-**Bumpers:
Any automotive bumper can be used. You must weld or bolt the bumper to the shock . bolts can be up to 1/2 dia in the factory location.,. #9 wire in 4 places around core support to bumper. 2 strands per hole max.~ You may trim bumper ends~ maximum front and rear bumper height 24 '' and rear bumper a minimum of 16 ''. Measurement will be taken from ground to center of bumper...
**Tires and Rims:
7.50-15 maximum size, doubled, glued, and screwed tires allowed. Valve stem guards allowed.. No studded tires on drive tires. . No restriction on tread pattern or tire ply ratings. REMOVE ALL WHEEL WEIGHTS BEFORE INSPECTION. **Exhaust System:
Headers can exit straight up through the hood. If exhaust system runs under the car, it must exit under the front doors.
**Steering Column: may be swapped, aftermarket steering shafts allowed
AIR BAGS MUST BE REMOVED
**Fuel: Gasoline only!
**Fuel Tank:
Original gas tanks Must be removed unless they are mounted in front of the rear axle. Tanks are to be mounted behind driver. They Must be mounted properly and all connections must be secured and leak proof. 5 gallons max. 5 holes must be in floor around fuel tank to prevent puddling of spilled fuel.. (If it moves 1/8 inch ~ it’s NOT considered secure) all fuel tanks must be covered with a non flammable material . Boat tank protectors are allowed but must be no larger than 24 '' wide and 18 '' tall driver safety is the main concern..
**Fuel Line:
Electric fuel pumps are acceptable. Must have shut off switch within drivers reach. Mounted on the rear roll cage bar. Must be 12 '' from the passenger side door with off position being down. Clearly marked for safety personal.

**Battery: 1 battery of any size. Must be placed in a secure position in the front. passenger side floor board. Battery box is suggested, which must be securely fastened down. Battery Must be covered.
**STARTING METHOD : you may use toggle, push button or hot wiring method
**Brakes: Brakes MUST be functional.
**Windshield: Two bars or #9 wires must run from roof to cowl panel.
80'S CLASS RULES

Tie rods may be reinforced. REAR suspension, you can change rear coils , wire them in with 4 strans of #9 per spring, lengthen upper trailing arms with a 2" overlap to get pinion angle,
**FRAME: = rear hump plates can be welded solid or bolted on THE FRAME . plates must be 1/4 thick 24" long and 4" wide. weld em solid,bolt them on,and mount them somewhere on the frame behind the trailing arm pockets your choice. 2 peices per car.
Frame=. you can notch the rear frame , and pre bend if you desire. NO TILTING OF FORDS
**Engine :
You may swap motors/transmissions. You may use engine of choice. Mounts at cradle can be welded in. engine oil coolers allowed . must be behind drivers seat. excessive mounting will not pass!! distributor protectors allowed
**Transmission:
Coolers are optional may be mounted behind seat. Must use transmission line for coolers. Gas line Will Not be allowed. Floor shifters allowed. burp tube must be installed over the dipstick and routed to the ground to prevent fires Transmission may be secured by chain , # 9 wires or stock mount
**Rear End:
Any 5 bolt pattern accepted ~ spiders can be welded ~ You may lengthen upper control arm for desired pinion angle 2" OVERLAP. Lower control arms can be shortened.. Any drive shaft allowed.
-**Bumpers:
Any automotive bumper can be used. HARDNOSE YOUR BUMPERS weld it solid,. #9 wire in 4 places around core support to bumper. 2 strands per hole max.~ You may trim bumper ends~ maximum front and rear bumper height 24 '' and rear bumper a minimum of 16 ''. Measurement will be taken from ground to center of bumper.. rear bumper can be hardnosed as well . weld it solid
**Roll Cage:

You may change all body bolts in the body, max 1/2 size, 3'' washers ¼ thick. Rubbers must remain in place NO EXTRA MOUNTS !! Bolts are not to travel through bottom of frame.
**Doors:
drivers doors may be welded solid by using 3'' wide max, ¼ thick strap on all DRIVERS door seams. . One ¼ plate not to exceed drivers door by 6 inches, may be welded on drivers door for safety!. all other doors may be banded chained or wired in 6 spots total .OR YOU CAN WELD A TOTAL OF 6 3X3 PLATES ON EACH DOOR SEAM.. the bottoms each door can have 2 spots of wire wrap around the frame . Any door that comes open during heat or feature will automatically be disqualified. . NUMBERS MUST BE ON A ROOF SIGN . Signs need to be at least 20x20.

TRUCK RULES = SAME AT ALL M.M.P EVENTS
1. Any American made 2 or 4 wheel drive pick up truck, Blazers , surburbans, and full size van 1967 and newer.
2. Factory Fuel tanks must be removed
3. You may run any engine regardless of make
4. Fuel Tanks must be located in the bed of the truck in the center of the bed directly behind cab. No stock fuel tanks permitted Fuel cells must be securely fastened and covered.
5. Battery may be moved to floor of the cab. battery must be securely fastened to floor and covered
6. All trucks must have working seat belts
7. Doors must be secured by wire, chain, banding or welding
8. Tailgates may be chained ,wired, banded, or welded shut
9. Box and cab mounts may be replaced with up to 3/4 " bolts body mounts may be removed
10. No trailer hitches or reinforcements of frame or body of any kind permitted. May use car bumpers. For mounting of car bumpers you may use factory car shocks and brackets or a 3" x 3" x 5" long box tube.
11. Hoods Must be in place and operable Must have a 12" hole cut in hood over carburetor
12 Hoods may be wired chained or banded shut only 6 double strands of wire all permitted to go to frame
13 .NO 4 wheel drive trucks permitted unless you remove one of the driveshafts
14. Tires are to be stock sizes for trucks no split rims no restriction on tread pattern, doubled screwed glued, and valve stem protection allowed
15. Beds must be welded,chained or wired to cab of truck directly behind doors
16. 6 double strands of wire permitted in front and 6 in rear of truck all permitted to go to the frame
17. Stock suspension only Screw in coil spring blocks may be used in front coil springs, These may not be welded in. 8 lug rears are permitted on 1/2 ton trucks
18.A 4 point cage is highly recommended in drivers compartment for drivers safety cages are to be welded to body of truck all cages must pass inspection.
PRO-CLASS

Do not exceed the rusted area by more than 2''. excessive patching will result in excessive cutting..
WEDGING--- THERE MUST BE 8 " OF SPACE BETWEEN THE TRUNK FLOOR AND THE TRUNK LID.
**FRAME: Trailer hitches and brackets must be removed. You may notch the frame.. NO painting or undercoating on frame. all 80 and newer cars can weld all factory frame and body seams.
**SUSPENSION:

5 springs 60'' long max 2 1/2 WIDE 5/16 thick max 1" stagger required, , welding rear shackle allowed shackles may be no larger than 8 ''long x 3'' wide ¼ thick . Front spring mounts to be no larger than 6''long 3'' wide ¼ thick all bolts for conversion not to be larger than 3/4 no welding on springs . No duct tape on springs.clamp size 2'' wide ¼ thick 4 per side allowed

**Roll Cage

0ne inspection hole must be 14 '' wide and 14 '' tall. In center of trunk .12 bolts max in cut out, 3/8 size and 1 '' dia washers max . bolts must be around the cut out area only.
**#9 wire: rules You are allowed 8 places max. on hoods, doors, trunks, and tailgates. 4 strand per hole. Welded washers are allowed. Sheet metal to sheet metal only .if you chose not to weld your doors you can have 2 spots wrap aroung the frame on each door.

Fiberglass hoods may be changed. Hoods can be bolted together at cut out. 10- 3/8 bolts max.. with 1 '' dia washers . No welding. HOOD CAN BE SECURED IN 6 SPOTS. By using 1 inch bolts and 4 '' washers max. if using wire you can weld washers on hood 8 spots ,4 strands per hole . Must have 14 '' hole in center if not using headers. HOODS MUST BE OPEN FOR INSPECTION

Any stock automotive allowed. Only in stock position. Secured by 9# wire, nylon straps, or bungee straps in 2 places only. Remember Water only! No coolant. Electric fans permitted.
**Battery: 1 battery of any size. Must be placed in a secure position in the front. passenger side floor board. Battery box is suggested, which must be securely fastened down. Battery Must be covered.
**STARTING METHOD : you may use toggle, push button or hot wiring method
**Brakes: Brakes MUST be functional.
**Windshield: Two bars or #9 wires must run from roof to cowl panel.
80'S CLASS RULES
All cars must remain stock unless otherwise noted. If it is not in the rules, it does not mean you can do it. So Don’t!
**CAR TYPE= any 78 and up g.m any 79 and up mopar and any 80 and up ford
**Stripping:
All outside hardware such as glass, plastic, fiberglass and chrome molding, door handles, mirrors etc must be removed prior to arrival. No broken windows in doors. All flammable materials must be removed such as carpets, upholstery, headliners, and back seats. Cars must be clean and free of loose objects inside and in the trunk area including spare tire, rims and parts. Insulation blanket under the hood must be removed. All items must be removed except for front seat.
**Body:
Wheel wells may be cut and rolled for tire clearance. 5 bolts in each wheel lip acceptable 3/8 bolts and 1" washers max size
**SUSPENSION:
You may weld the front suspension using flat stock from lower a arm to frame , 3" on frame only one piece per side 3'' wide ¼ thick max size .or use spring spacers for getting bumper height ! … You may swap A- arms of your choice, automotive only allowed. Tie rods may be reinforced. REAR suspension, you can change rear coils , wire them in with 4 strans of #9 per spring, lengthen upper trailing arms with a 2" overlap to get pinion angle,
**FRAME: = rear hump plates can be welded solid or bolted on THE FRAME . plates must be 1/4 thick 24" long and 4" wide. weld em solid,bolt them on,and mount them somewhere on the frame behind the trailing arm pockets your choice. 2 peices per car.
Frame=. you can notch the rear frame , and pre bend if you desire. NO TILTING OF FORDS
**Engine :
You may swap motors/transmissions. You may use engine of choice. Mounts at cradle can be welded in. engine oil coolers allowed . must be behind drivers seat. excessive mounting will not pass!! distributor protectors allowed
**Transmission:
Coolers are optional may be mounted behind seat. Must use transmission line for coolers. Gas line Will Not be allowed. Floor shifters allowed. burp tube must be installed over the dipstick and routed to the ground to prevent fires Transmission may be secured by chain , # 9 wires or stock mount
**Rear End:
Any 5 bolt pattern accepted ~ spiders can be welded ~ You may lengthen upper control arm for desired pinion angle 2" OVERLAP. Lower control arms can be shortened.. Any drive shaft allowed.
-**Bumpers:
Any automotive bumper can be used. HARDNOSE YOUR BUMPERS weld it solid,. #9 wire in 4 places around core support to bumper. 2 strands per hole max.~ You may trim bumper ends~ maximum front and rear bumper height 24 '' and rear bumper a minimum of 16 ''. Measurement will be taken from ground to center of bumper.. rear bumper can be hardnosed as well . weld it solid

**Core Support: may be shimmed up with 2X2 square tubing 4” long max
**Steering Column: may be swapped, aftermarket steering shafts allowed

TRUCK RULES = SAME AT ALL M.M.P EVENTS
1. Any American made 2 or 4 wheel drive pick up truck, Blazers , surburbans, and full size van 1967 and newer.
2. Factory Fuel tanks must be removed
3. You may run any engine regardless of make
4. Fuel Tanks must be located in the bed of the truck in the center of the bed directly behind cab. No stock fuel tanks permitted Fuel cells must be securely fastened and covered.
5. Battery may be moved to floor of the cab. battery must be securely fastened to floor and covered
6. All trucks must have working seat belts
7. Doors must be secured by wire, chain, banding or welding
8. Tailgates may be chained ,wired, banded, or welded shut
9. Box and cab mounts may be replaced with up to 3/4 " bolts body mounts may be removed
10. No trailer hitches or reinforcements of frame or body of any kind permitted. May use car bumpers. For mounting of car bumpers you may use factory car shocks and brackets or a 3" x 3" x 5" long box tube.
11. Hoods Must be in place and operable Must have a 12" hole cut in hood over carburetor
12 Hoods may be wired chained or banded shut only 6 double strands of wire all permitted to go to frame
13 .NO 4 wheel drive trucks permitted unless you remove one of the driveshafts
14. Tires are to be stock sizes for trucks no split rims no restriction on tread pattern, doubled screwed glued, and valve stem protection allowed
15. Beds must be welded,chained or wired to cab of truck directly behind doors
16. 6 double strands of wire permitted in front and 6 in rear of truck all permitted to go to the frame
17. Stock suspension only Screw in coil spring blocks may be used in front coil springs, These may not be welded in. 8 lug rears are permitted on 1/2 ton trucks
18.A 4 point cage is highly recommended in drivers compartment for drivers safety cages are to be welded to body of truck all cages must pass inspection.
PRO-CLASS

**FRAME: Trailer hitches and brackets must be removed. You may notch the frame.. NO painting or undercoating on frame. all 80 and newer cars can weld all factory frame and body seams.

5 springs 60'' long max 2 1/2 WIDE 5/16 thick max 1" stagger required, , welding rear shackle allowed shackles may be no larger than 8 ''long x 3'' wide ¼ thick . Front spring mounts to be no larger than 6''long 3'' wide ¼ thick all bolts for conversion not to be larger than 3/4 no welding on springs . No duct tape on springs.clamp size 2'' wide ¼ thick 4 per side allowed

You can weld the bumper to the shock, weld the shock to the frame,. #9 wire in 4 places around core support to bumper. 2 strands per hole max.~ welding washers on bumper/ core support for wire is acceptable. Washers are to be no larger than 2 '' diameter You may trim bumper ends~ maximum front and rear bumper height 24 '' and rear bumper a minimum of 16 ''. Measurement will be taken from ground to center of bumper. bumper shocks can be mounted inside the frame on all cars.
