trickle charge the battery all night and right up until i go to leave.
If i didnt have the wheels off bust them loose with the impact so there easier to take off with the 4 way.
Make sure the cordless drill and impact batteries are charged.
Double check i got what tools ill need.
Bring 2 old gas cans full of water for the radiator( had someone take one of them thinking it was full of fuel they found out the hard way it wasnt)
Load up the cooler
Im sure theres more I do but i cant think of it

the night befor... the truck get a 'night light' (depending where it is) if its out side i also leave the bay light on.. the radio is on, usally a slipknot or metallica CD... the battery gets a good deep charge, and i havea 'pep' talk with the truck, set in the driver seat, and just talk to her... and as i walk past her to go in, i kiss the hood..... then thatt morning i go out and fuil it up, check tires, tranny fluid, oil, and rad. coolent... take it for a drive around the shop and load it up... get the tool ready and head out to be about 2 hours early.. get inspection done, get hood tied down, and set and watch as every one scrables to get ready...

Yep Were usually one of the first to arrive also. Saw one team last year get there early, they sat back in lawn chairs and played a cornhole game for awhile. Funny to see people so calm and relaxed down in the pits.
