ok goin to be runnin my first derby and the car i am goin to be runnin is getting the bia rear taken out by the owner and giveing a c clip in its place just wonderin how these do i know the whole snap axle there goes the wheel

if you cant find some thing with bolt in axles just try to protect it

they will work Ive ran them many times with mixed luck Ive fried 2 But have ran others with no problems

it also depend on how you drive..i had bad experiences with them personally.i would try and get a bia it will help out alot

weld angle iron to the brake drum pointed to the axle, if it breaks it will still "hang on" a little longer

i think he means add some angle iron to the drum so it hangs over the backing plate and it dont fall off right away when it brakes

bia also makes it easier to change a broken axle

ya the angle iron isnt the best but at least its one more thing to keep the tires rolling just that much farther.....

my brothers and I took 1st, 2nd and 3rd last night in the wire show. All of us had non welded c clip 10bolts. Stock rears that came in cars. 97 caddy, 87 olds88, and 94 chevy wagon. All were non posi one wheel wonders. ; ;D

i member when i use to point and laugh at people that dont weld their gears that was b4 i knew you could do good
