2010 Smithton Hole 80s and newer Demolition Derby Rules
Demolition Derbies Begin at 3:00 P.M or as soon as inspection can be completed (Inspection will not be rushed due to late arriving cars). COMPETITION CARS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON GROUNDS AFTER 2:00 P.M. The intention is to have a consistent start time that fans can rely on. Also, ending the event at a reasonable hour allows for more family participation.

Inspections should close at 2:45 followed by a DRIVERS MEETING. The officials reserve the right to re-inspect cars at any time during the event. Winning cars may be further investigated. i.e. body mounts pulled to check washering, body cut to better inspect frame rails. If you do not want the body mount bolts cut, bring appropriate tools to remove. Refusal of re-inspection will result in a disqualification. Official’s decision is final. Cars will only be re-inspected one time.
