i heard that theres a flood warning for basically most of the state of nd for this week. the red river (forms eastern boundary of nd) is expected to rise more than 10 feet this week. major flood stage for moorhead is 30 ft and the river is expected to hit 28.2 feet by friday morning.

Makes me glad I live on a hill I feel for you guy's, I got pissed when my basement leaked and spent $7K to have it waterproofed. I wouldn't know what to do if it filled up with water.

My college is DIRECTLY next to the ohio river. (river that forms the bottom border of ohio) We have these giant flood walls built of dirt and cement walls. But if the water ever gets higher than them....o its going to get crazy. Here are a couple pics. The first 2 are from the fall. The rest of the pictures are from a couple days ago with all the snow melting. If the water ever reaches the top of the flood walls, i'm skipping class and driving straight to the highway. This is the actual ohio river. High over its banks. Besides being in an Art Major, I also love photography and anything camera related. This is my favorite picture I took.
