WHEN DO YOU ARRIVE AT A DERBY 1,2,6 HOURS BEFORE START TIME AND THE REASON

ME PERSONALLY AT LEAST 2 1/2 HRS SO I CAN GET GOOD PIT SPOT AND BS WITH OTHER DRIVERS

My home county fair I am there as soon as the gate opens, sometimes before. I usually run 3-4 cars there and my uncles run a few aswell so bringing cars down is a half day production and I like to get an early start just incase something happens with my truck or trailer. Other shows, I'm usually 2 hours early. I like to get thru inspection early just incase I have to cut something I hate being rushed.

I get there 2 hrs before the show starts cuz that is when they want us there.I would like to get there before that but i am usually still working on the cars lol ;D

last year we were the first car there by about an hour, i plan to do the same this year

try to be the first that way your done working on the car and can help out the other friends if they need it and then you have them to return the favor when getting ready for the consi

we try to get there about 2 1/2 hours before so then we have a good spot can get through inspection early help friends and just hangout and talk to other drivers.

We are always one of the first ones to arrive. Gives you more time incase of any problems. Its also fun to sit back and watch everyone else roll in, talk with the other drivers.

LOL..this is funny...but i'm also another 1st one to get there..just like 307ci said, i was there at the last derby at 1:30 p.m. and the next car was 2:30-3 o'clock. I sat on a lawn chair in the middle of my trailer BS'ing with friends too... ;D
Kinda weird how a lot of us here are doing this at different derbies right....lol

^^^ Yea its surprisngly that most of us on here arrive early. Usually most drivers I talk to always show up at the last minute to try and get through inspections quicker.
