now I've always said there's no such thing as a stupid question but we just had a guy call and ask "if I have a 30 day tag on my car, can I drive it out of state?" I told my dispatcher to tell him he's got 30 day's to get back ;D

Hell I've never heard of a 30 day tag..... In ohio when you buy a car you get a temp. tag, that gives you 30 days to buy license plates........hence "30 day tag"

NY gives you about 30 seconds . Have to register and insure before driving. A ten day inspection is all you get.

Here in Oregon, you have 30 days to get licenced and insured. so if you get a new car every 30 days i guess you don't need to buy insurance or licence plates
