after hardnosing, where do you cut your front bumpers off at? I made the green mark here so you have a reference point(left an inch, right 2 inches, right there, etc.) Does anyone just bend the corners in with a sledge hammer?

Don't cut it off.... At the corner point slice the top of the chrome, hammer the inside down, hammer the corner twards the rad, weld the chrome to the backing

Yes agree with Tude. We cut the sides off our first bumper. But then once it started curling on the sides, the bumper became too small and I had wished it was longer. So now I will only bend the sides of the bumper around. It also strengthens the bumper to slow it down from curling around on the sides.

And now it makes it nice and smooth on the edges so you do get cut every time you walk by it
