bought this car for $250. 318, only 75k on it. this is my first v8 car, and im gonna build it to the fullest extent of the rules. when i first got it began by flipping the rear shackles. Not sure how the judges will like this, the rules say "do not crank up torsion bars on Chrysler corp cars, and do not invert shackles on ford cars". Well since it said nothing about inverting Chrysler shackles im gonna try it. rear bumper is right at 21". Also began creasing the rear of it. Next was some motor work. installed some headers, and ditched the ac and air pump. had to rework the brackets but it works good. I wanna put a points ignition on it, (anyone know where i can get one or does anyone have one?) got the rear end almost done, finished creasing the quarters. I folded the edge of the truck over, reworked the bumper mounts. Ive been workin on the interior right now will have more updates soon.

Is that trunk lid staying on top of the trunk? IF so then crease the end of the trunk lid right before it curves downwards. It has enough started already to work with.

you'll need to get a different carb also u can buy one at auto zone or advance just tell them u need one for like a 70's model mopar. also at advance u can buy a kit to make the distribtor hei instead of points thats what i did with my mopar and its the best running engine in my fleet. i'll try to dig u some part numbers in the next couple of days i'll have to look in the top of the garage

well the lean burn ignition system is gone. swapped in a GM HEI module into it today , this car has never run so good, you can actually hear the difference in how much better it idles. it was very simple to do. started work on a floor shifter today, will have some pics tomorrow.

Got my shifter made, still have some adjustments to make to the linkage. Didnt cost me anything, used some scrap pipe, and parts from an old chevy truck hood hinge. the screws holding it to the floor are just temporary.

Ya i need to move the hole where the linkage goes down a lot. its way too touchy. But Seems like it'll be good.
Just thought about what a stupid thing I did. I forgot to take into account that as the front end goes up the linkage is gonna change so the shifter wont work. More chopping up the floor to set one up to mount right to the tranny
