I found this today while out driving around.Going by the grille its between a 69-72.the body is very clean, bu tthey have the interior full of trash.if i can get it cheap is it worth getting?

id love to keep it but i already catch shit from my ole man about my buick and chrysler. so unless i can find somewhere else to keep it it'll prob end up being for sale

Depends on what you consider cheap. I say if the price is right, run it off asap, and you won't have to store it.

Yea anything cheap enough is worth buying. is a 96 grand marquis worth 350 it has 240,xxx miles and partially stripped for derbing.

ok guys im thinking about buying a car thats sounds like its nearly stripped and without a drive train its a 1965 comet with 4 doors and also a motor thats from mid 70's ford truck. im thinking i may be able to get both for 300 maybe a lil less here are the ads from CL. dothan.craigslist.org/pts/2380729889.html , dothan.craigslist.org/for/2378356792.html. what do yall think is it worth looking in to?? im thinking i may be able to find a desent rear end cheap

well i never ended up getting this car. the motor is out of it, tranny is shot. and he wanted no less than $1800 for it. but now i found a 1967 2dr newport.car is stripped, theres no m/t or rear axle. but car looks to be in good shape. , hes asking $700 casue he said its worth that in scrap(which its not). where should i start my offer

67 2 dr newport... hmmm... well it being a Y framer its worth $500, it being a 2dr makes it worth $600, id try $500 and go no higher than $600....

In my experiance, If he's asking 700 for it ,start at about half. so anywhere between 300 and 350, then bargain your way from there. but 307 is right, I wouldnt go any higher than 600 and that is probably to much. JMO

i guess i wasnt too far off on the offer i was thinking. how would good would this car go up against a 73 olds. its a pro mod rule set, so i can do a lot of welding and plating.
