anyone ever done these as a kid? i still do, then again im 13 so i technically am a kid still

anyone ever done these as a kid? i still do, then again im 13 so i technically am a kid still When i was that age, we (my friends and i ) would save our money (i started working on a farm when i was 12)Anyway,we would check the tradeers guide,and other local newspapers for $50-$100 cars and smash them up into trees,each others cars,we would race them, etc. There is a huge abandoned Quarry close to where i grew up,and this made the perfect spot to "play" with our "field - beaters" (thats what we called them) I guess that gave me my very 1st taste of demo-derby...LOL My first field beaters were a 1987 chevette, 1980's plymouth laser, and a 80's ford escort...all of the cars were compacts. ahhh memories ;D ;D LOL

wish i could do that stuff, but i don't have money because no one will hire you now till your 16 or 18 event on farms and fruit ranches. oh well i still have tin foil, cardboard, and all kinds of stuff to make miniature derby cars to smash up

lets see here that green beast of mine had an osm rear on it the front was good but i had problems with the front bumper.....and my wagon there kept bending down
