I have asked this question via PM, but never really got a definite answer so here it is:
Last year i started noticing guys running cars with a hose that ran up their windshield pillar that steams after engine gets hot enough.... my question is this......how are they doing this? I thought of different ways to make a steam release system, but want to know if anyone here has any answers on how to do it?
please & thanks, Scott

Is it just the vent off the radiator? Where the overflow would usually go? If it is I usually just take a piece of hose and point it at the ground or off to the side. Running it up to the roof would definatly keep the steam out of your eyes.

most likely what 82 just run a longer hose from the little fitting near the radiator cap that normally goes into the resovor and put it all the way up there but doin so you most likely risk it getting pinched off between the hood and firewall so you gotta watch where you run it or your in for a big mess
