Is anyone else going? I will be running in the 80s leaf class. Will be there camping all weekend. This is the biggest derby there is. Almost 300 cars registered. Wish me luck, I will not be one of the sandbaggers. The leaf class was the hardest hitting heat of the whole show last year.Can't wait! ;D

I will be going in the next 2-3 years....we plan on making it a road trip,because it will be a LONG drive for me to get there and will take time and money that i just don't have right now.....
but......Good Luck 82 Let us know how you do...i will save a section for you to post pics of that winners trophy!

Just got home. Took 2nd place!! And I took one hell of a beating. Found out taking a non leafed car to a leaf show kind of puts a big target on you. I took some hellacios hits, but I made some too. Had an awsome time, held it to the floor. Every other heat lasted from 1-2 hours, leafed class lasted 19 minutes. No bagging by anyone in leaf class. I will post pics a little later, gotta lick my wounds for a while.

great job 82!!!
I was reading on wecrash yesterday and it didnt sound like very many people (mainly fans) were impressed with how it was being run, the amount of bagging, shutting down early friday night, and the cost to get in...

ALL of the 80s classes were hitting. There was some bagging in mayhem class, but there was a hell of a lot of hard hitting as well! I have never seen that many cars get flipped, there were 3 in the first heat. Got to shake hands with some of the best drivers and builders from across the country.  |
