i now that some do and some don't we chaining are ball joints before every demo do you? ??

no but need to address them somitimes,actually been thinking of replacing them with bolts.any one tried this?

Grade 8 bolts work great.

I have never had trouble with ball joints but do what ever you can to make a car better

Only had one break in 13 year of derbying and that was on a 79 ltd but the bolt idea is a good idea i don't think we can do the where i run.

the bolt ideal would be great to hold it strong but the ball joint would be able to still allow you to move better if your a arm bent and i have never ever heard of chaining your ball joints but doesnt sound like a bad ideal

I have never broke one in 10 years. But I am getting pretty good at avoiding hits to the wheels. Hope I am not jinxing myself here, but I have never busted a ball joint, axle, or had a flat tire in 10 years of derbying. Whipping your car around to avoid wheel shots is what I try to do.
