is their a way to straighten a arms with out buying new ones. what the best way to do this

i always used the torch,get them were i want then add steel where i can..lol .i saw a pair the other day made of square tubing and 3/8 plate.it looked stock at a glance.amazing what u can do with fiberglass and paint.. good luck

yeah if you don't add steel to them after you torch it, it will bend in the same spot.

thanks guys ill have to try doing this. so basically im heating the arm up and pulling it straight and putting steel over it where it bent and then welding the steel their as its like a collar sorta thing

if its c chanel i would weld some box or tubing inside then weld 5\16 flat on bottom,to make a box....if it is boxed cut the ends off and beat steel down inside and weld back up,if its solid allready all you can so is sleeve it..just remember if you think its overkill then its perfect..lol...good luck

If you still can't get them straight,,, start looking at any a arms you can get cheap or free, you would be suprised how easy a lot of them interchange, I have put gm a arms on fords, chryslers, and gm's of different years. Most will swap out with minimal fab work. You can really raise up a front end with 70's ford a arms
