pipesrmylife will have vids sometime and ill link it to here anyway heres the pics, they are very decieving tho til i get to the frame pics frame pics the frame on the drivers side moved several inches sideways and moved my steering box real bad so i couldnt steer, then i couldnt get it into neutral or reverse cuz i had shifter malfunctions.... im gonna pull and save the subframe for spare scrap metal and motor and tranny to put in my next one so ill get pics again when that is done in the next couple weeks hopefully....... i was only out there for 2 minutes, and they were 2 minutes full of entertainment for me and the fans as my foot never left the floor and i hit with nothing but the front end... i actually never even got hit until i was done, thats how fast i was moving, so everything but the front looks exactly the same

WOW you laid some pretty solid hits with that thing. I loved the one to the front of that yellow car, I felt that one from here. Great job Travis.

It was a water barrel. They changed our rules to allow water barrels instead of radiators this year, but the barrels have to be mounted on the roof.

Does it work. Do they run cooler than with a traditional radiator?

From what I've heard it's been mixed reviews. The upside is there's always water circulating. But you're also recirculating hot water. One guy had a temp gauge and while building the car it never went over 180 degrees. During the derby I think it hit 250+
Personally I'm not a fan of boiling water over my head. Our local ambulance crew wasn't too impressed that everyone was showing up with these barrels on the roof either. Fortunately none of them burst. And for some reason they won't let them in the back seat even if they're covered up...

Too bad about the steering. Looks like you wouldn't of had to fight too much more after that with the other cars losing axles.
