I am currently working on building a website to go along with my youtube channel and video series. This website will have much more than my youtube stuff. Hopefully it will be a great addition to the online derby world. Website will hopefully come online this winter if things continue good. More info to come when its closer to launch date.
But, the reason I made this thread. I am going to make a webpage containing the names of all types of derby classes. From bone stock - outlaw. I would like for you guys to type in your definitions of the build styles for these classes. Hopefully this will help explain to newer drivers what each class means and to help them choose what they prefer.
Define each class with a couple sentences. No extreme detail needed, just the basics.
Bone Stock:
Stock:
Limited Weld:
Modified / Pro-Stock:
Full Weld:
Outlaw:
Feel free to add any other classes I may have left out.

I'll throw in my input.
Bone Stock: Move the gas tank and battery, break the windows and go. Cars must have stock factory bumpers, engines, bodies and frames. Everything fastened shut by 9 wire or chains.
Stock: Stock parts must be used, but some parts can be switched as long as it matches the make of vehicle. Ford to Ford, Chevy to Chevy, etc. No welding on car, everything fastened shut by 9 wire or chains.
Limited Weld: Stock car parts can be used on any make or model. No reinforced car parts. Rules determine selective areas allowed to be welded. Usually only door welds and bumpers, no major mods to frame.
Modified / Pro-Stock: Any parts, bodies and frames can be combined, usually welding on doors, trunks and bumpers. Some minor mods to frame and welding. Tilting sometimes allowed.
Full Weld: Any parts, bodies and frames can be combined. Welding allowed on frames. Tilting and hump plates usually allowed. Anything can be done to car as long as you don't add extra metal.
Outlaw: Anything can be done to the car to reinforce it. Extra metal allowed. No weapons.
I'm sure I didn't hit all the main points, so let me know what else to add.
