i have an 83 olds 88 and want to hardnose it but honestly have to idea how. If someone could tell me how or even let me know if its even worth doing would be great.

u weld the bumper right to the frame and about 8" inches on top of frame there is a dipole weld it shut or it will Ben up there

Tahe the bumper shocks off and weld the bumper straight to the frame, then weld your shocks solid to the side of your frame and back to your bumper. This is deffiantly worth doing if you are aloud to. extend the shocks out as far as you can and weld them straight to the side of the frame with several passes. You don't have to use the shocks, but they will help to keep the horns from tweaking.

You will not need to cut the frame, unless you are shortening the front of the frame to make the bumper closer to the core support.

83 olds 88 im running it at the local fair. if you can hardnose the front you would think you could hardnose the rear too right??

Yea I hardnosed the rear bumper on my thunderbird. Seemed to work good.
