i know we notch our cars because if its not done big chance of the rear blocking your vision fast!

Depends on the car. Reason also depends on the car, some it's to make it roll instead of going sky high others (coil cars) it's to keep the back from plowing.

Dimpling is the way to go in my mind a notch you take metal out with a dimple the metal is still there and your frame dont rip eaither but that is JMO every one has one right lol ;D

tend to notch adn prebend the big butt cars so they dont dig down or block vision. dont know muck about the creasing and dimpling or tilting since where i run its stock and not many people know about that becasue we basically find cars stripp them and then run the crap out of them.

I nothched the rear of my vic rite at 12" in from the end of frame, theres a hole on both the in side and out side of frame and thats where i but just a slit acrossed the the top of the frame at that point. i hope its not too far back. Im also thinking about dimpling closer to the humps if i should how far should i do that? etown i believe dimpling is where you cut a small portion (i dont know how much exactly maybe sumone will help us both on that) of the side of the frame out leaveing the top of frame in tacted then heat up the top and bend it in to where you cut out and try to fit as good as you can. im not sure but i think welding is optional or you can weld the top of frame down in to where you cut the sides thus creatating a "dimple" on the top frame. im not positive on this but thats how it looks to me

With a dimple you don't cut nothing all you need is a ax or big hammer and dent the top of the frame where you want it to bend i don't use heat eaither hope that helps.

ok thx scooter that makes sence should i weld up where i cut the slit on my frame? i only cut the top and about 1/4" on the sides should i just leave it cause its already done? or try to get the rear frame to star bending there b4 the derby? how do i dimple near the humps on my car if i cannt get a hammer or anything to it? im thinking the rear my go up anyway.
